Day 4 - Fashion crisis!

It’s Friday which means one more day until the weekend. Can’t wait to just relax, unwind and sloth out over the weekend as it’s been a while…oh, wait.

Friday consisted of a little lie-in, (sorry not sorry?!) eating and witnessing the boyfriend slowly slipping into what can only be described as a Covid-19 inspired fashion crisis.

My body felt a little stiff and creaky which I put down to the after effects of run the day before - that run really didn’t serve me well! My knee was rather tender from the twist too so I was quite happy just taking it easy and spent a large majority of my day enjoying listening in to Sandy’s work calls and getting myself familiar with editing videos.

Mentally I felt rather giddy and excited for most of the afternoon.

Had a great catch with another dear friend and her daughters! SO thankful to be able to video call friends and family, how lucky we are to still have the ability to connect with people all over the world from our living rooms.

The day flew by and the evening consisted of a lovely brisk walk out under the stars again and a cheeky trip to the shop to get ‘emergency’ beers and food for dinner. So far, I haven’t actually stepped foot in a shop but Sandy flew in very quickly, ensuring to keep distance between other shoppers and sanitised his hands straight away.

Week 2 in isolation done! Rather enjoyed this week despite the ups and downs but think that’s inevitable with these crazy lock ins!
